How Your Neighborhood Is Assigned

NVP+ sponsorships are tied to specific neighborhoods — not zip codes or broad regions. Here is exactly how the process works.

One neighborhood per sponsorship
Each sponsorship covers one specific Portland neighborhood — for example, Creston-Kenilworth, Buckman, or Lents. Your subscription, category exclusivity, and all marketing benefits apply within that neighborhood only.

Category exclusivity is neighborhood-specific
If you sponsor Buckman as a gym, no other gym may sponsor Buckman while your subscription is active. That exclusivity applies only to the neighborhood you have sponsored — not adjacent areas.

Your zone is confirmed before payment
When you contact our team, we confirm which neighborhood you are being assigned to before any payment is processed. You will know exactly which zone is yours — and whether it is available — before you commit.

Availability is first-come, first-served
Only one business per industry category may sponsor a given neighborhood at a time. If your preferred neighborhood is taken in your category, our team will discuss alternatives including adjacent zones or a waitlist position.

Exclusivity ends when the subscription ends
If your subscription is cancelled or lapses, category exclusivity in that neighborhood ends immediately. Another business in your category may then sponsor that zone. There is no grace period for lapsed accounts.

Multi-zone expansion available
Medium tier and above may expand to cover multiple neighborhoods. Each additional zone is a separate sponsorship. Volume discounts apply automatically at 5 or more zones and 10 or more zones.
